Edinger steering/servo saver 3 hole vs 5 hole

Post by JosephS »

I'm looking to make sure I have my parts right on an early/mid edinger rc10 build. I'm spending a bit of time looking through pictures.
I'm sure that this is just a running change. There was a change from the 5 hold style that I have seen on the rc12 servo saver to the 3 hole style that is still being used today.

I see on the 25 years of rc10 the steering/servo saver has 3 holes like the modern ones

On duckhead documentation I see the 5 hold servo saver arm

Well the manuals are of no use, they reused the same image for each kit... except for the Graphite which got a single hole arm...

My RC10 CE has the 3 hole arm and it was an early CE before the stealth transmission was added to CE kits.

Is that little nub a cut down arm as well? It seems it looks like a proper part.

Yes it's been cut down. This is back when AE took pride in their kits
