Sly Products Novak reproduction Cases for ORCA V2

Post by cas22 »

These just turned up from France.
Stumbled across SLY Products. They mostly make some reproduction period correct radio equipment for shelf queens and static display RC.
But they made an interesting case set for Orca 800 series V2 brushed ESC.
Got a couple delivered today and they fit beautifully. I did tap out the extrusions to take an M2 screw underneath for a tighter case, otherwise mint.
I haven't tried offering up the Black aluminum heatsinks as yet, obviously only decorative.
And you do need access to the tactile "on/off" push button, which is not ideal, but hey, its fits, its reliable, and the color is a very close match.
Also purchased a NES 2 receiver case to fit late model 2.4Ghz futaba receivers.
Yes i know the stickers are not correct, but other than cyclone and atom reproductions from BOKI racing I haven't found anything closer.
Anyway, just an idea to try out if anyone's keen.
