dont get your hopes up too high, ive been pondering that one too and so far they haven't done any good deals for the vintage kits at all besides a clear kit. Chances are its just going to be a rtr cralwer or monster truck of some sort, something they are clearing out. They wont even let their team drivers buy the vintage line at discount, so for them to give one away cheap- its doubtfulFree vehicle? Really?

That whole thing is way too open ended. Nothing is said about who chooses. I read that and immediately thought it is phrased as customer’s choice. They need to clarify a whole lot.GoMachV wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 8:28 pmdont get your hopes up too high, ive been pondering that one too and so far they haven't done any good deals for the vintage kits at all besides a clear kit. it is clarified a bit, you get a choice of around 4 vehicles, and 30 days to decide.

Well, not really. the cut actually lines up better on mine after i did the bend and used the center screw hole, It does look a bit wrong with the screw in the original right hand side though. I go over that more in my build thread. the rear motor plate never really line up right on RC10s and it seems you almost always have to pull something to get the holes to line up, even more so when you do the worlds bend and then try to force it to go back into the original holes.TRX-1-3 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 8:14 pm
I've so far resisted purchasing any of the rere's. But this is something that has crossed my mind. If you are really doing a Kinwald, the hologram sticker and the laser etching would have to go. But then all the cuts.....
Something Scr8p covered in the YouTube overview of the Kinwald mods: the tail bend and motor guard one screw tap and keeping the cut angle continuity. That might be a detail that would require a fresh chassis/motor plate.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Just saw that. I’m in agreement though that the cars probably aren’t going to be anything worth while. The debate in my head is not fun lol.
