Trying to recreate Joel Johnson's '95 Oval Masters winner

Post by DSaw78 »

I picked up this EV10SS Left Side Drive Team or Limited Edition a couple years ago. Has all new carbon minus the rear shock plate but some of the other parts on the car were questionable at the time. The purple parts for these are very hard to find so the wear on the shocks will have to suffice, makes it look like it was ran I guess. Back in February I decided I finally wanted to try and tackle this project and I've made more progress than I thought I would with help from a couple of FB groups and some other very helpful individuals.

This is the pic I was originally going off of, not the best at all:

I have acquired the correct springs, o-ring spring cups and ball studs for the front end as mentioned here.

Here's a much better one someone got me and it made a huge difference!

After finding another mint EV10SS LSD on Ebay, I felt okay with making the cut(s) on this chassis as close as I could to his car. I have made a couple more since I took this pic after someone giving me that much better photo. Here's how it sat last week but I'll upload a newer one later today.
