I loke the car, the puretech strap looks great with the battery pad.
Did you have them custom make the strap for you? I thought about doing the same thing but the standard straps I have are too long.

The strap and pad came with the chassis from Rick (bearrickster). I think they look good too. They will probably influence the color scheme I go for when I get a body.

Thanks guys, I took the straps and cut them off, shorted it and super glued it back together so the logo fit right. I thought it would look better, and with that strap the newer batterys fit better?

I'm embarrassed to say that I have RC ADD. I can't seem to focus on one thing at a time. Not only is it embarrassing but it's expensive too! I haven't done anything on the Losi's to speak of yet but I'll get back to it shortly! This is what has been occupying most of my free time: (sorry for the off topic post!)

That sure is sweet!! those are some pretty headers. why if your going with a bigblock later did you buy the expensive headers? I have always loved those cars. I am a MOPAR man at heart. I bet you like the small block just fine

Well, i chose not to build the big block after I realized how much it was going to cost me. This motor I got for free and I'll use it until I get the other 318 or a 360 built. The headers will work with any small block.

I hear you I have a 4 big blocks sitting in my shop, but it would cost me a grand to get the stuff to put it in my car. and only a few hundred to fix my small block. I am going small block to.

i think the 360 was one of the cheapest v8s to rebuild???i had a 1985 dodge 1500 with a carburated ,360 and no emissions crap .. it got about 8mpg.. ran good till i jumped it in the woods

Man Gary I wish you lived closer, the guy I got your rear from I sent you has 3 360 truck blocks ans a few 340 hp I think hes tossing. their lots of MOPAR stuff here. but all rusty bodys

Yeah, i wish I was closer too. I'm sick of rain and cold weather! The rear end turned out to be a Sure Grip, did I tell you? I have the center section soaking in solvent to get it clean before I blow it apart. It's going to be a bit of work but it will be worth it.

yes when we were on the phone you said that. that's great, I wish I would have picked it up a few years ago it may have not been so rough?

It's not too bad really. The ring gear and carrier look like they are fine. We haven't been able to get it to turn yet but it will I'm sure. We scrubbed an exposed spot and the crap came right off, you can see that they are 3:25 gears written right on it.

one thing I found working on cars all of these years is, heat is your friend on getting stuck things to move? I use my torch a lot!!
