That's a far cry from the ratty old truck you bought not so long ago! Nice work, glad you're finally getting to enjoy her.

cliffs offroad, marseilles, il.

it broke 3 different times getting home from there last weekend... power steering belt, then i couldnt get it started, then the alternator went out and stranded me on an offramp to a very very bad part of chicago. :(

i think they were all a result of having it either undewater or in mud. new alt cost 160ish dang bucks, and thats with the core...

anyhoo... going there again this weekend for their 'zuki jam' event. it should be fun.

its running real good, still needs new leaf springs (which i just got in the mail yesterday) but everything else is pretty damn solid. i still miss the old one, but this new one can flat out get with it.

i got in a section of a river down there that started to come in over the passenger window... if my air intake had been on that side it woulda sucked. it scared the crapola out of me... it got real deep.

Hey! Hoopty's got a new Avi! 8)

That hole looks real deep. Did she crawl out on her own or did she need a strap?

went down the the same cliffs offroad place for a suzuki jam yesterday. had a bunch of fun, but my rear shock mount (that i thought i had tested out the weekend before) gave the ghost, and bit me in the backside on the way home when it slowley cut itself through my fuel line.
