Yes, the small (red in your case it sounds like) o-rings go one either side of the spacer (though it sounds like Charlie said he placed the back to back at the bottom of the cartridge).

You stated the shocks dont "feel" good with the bladders in them, can you elaborate on this? .

The car was bouncing all over the place and I was doing one mistake per lap. amazing how more rebound (unavoidable with bladders unless you bleed them to death but then there's too much vacuum) could thow the car off... I removed the bladders, refilled the shock (same piston, oil) and I was back in the A-main at the last qualifier

For club level racing, what's an accetable timeline for rebuilding them? I race 2-3 times per month so it's not that frequently.
When you say rebuild do you mean just cleaning and changing fluid or replacing the seals and spacers also?

the shocks feel right to me in the car with as little rebound as possible... problem is, they suck air in very shortly when built with zero rebound... so refilling every couple of runs or so is a must FOR ME. o-rings should be replaced as soon as they have swollen too much for it not to be noticeable any more... they start swelling as soon as they get in contact with the oil. So the more the better, realistically, three of four times a year sounds about reasonable I'd say? Cost is still low, a few bucks for 8 o-rings the large black ones last forever unless you tear them.

I was shocked reading th interview that Ryan replaces all control arms, turnbuckles rod ends, replaces all shock internal parts and the shock end after every race day. That's crazy. I could never afford that.

we're talking about world class racers... Cav doesn't pay for his gear, but even if he did, if you are spending the multi-thousands to attend (and perform) at the big races, a few bucks here and there for a couple of plastic bits is peanuts. But when everything counts, it matters!

That's very true. I'm going to get the V2 shocks soon and I'll run them without bladders. Seems most people like them that way.
