What's the discoloration on the rear gearbox? Epoxy? Cat pee?

Looking sweet hoop, I am pretty sure you'll make a killer out of it, as usual :D The main problem could be the body though... Keep us posted mate 8)

those stupid hubs made of magnesium? i hated yokomo for doing that, i broke so many damn magnesium peices i never get why they didnt use aluminum or whatever..

I have a box of yok stuff for my mx4, ill see if i have anything there. I believe a set of mx4 hub carriers will actually fit that car.

cmon everyone who raced a yok knows its shoe goo lol, some of the yok's the only way to mount the servo was shoe goo, servo taped ripped hard after a smack or something.

its epoxy or shoeglue or something on the rear bulk. it was used to stick the on/off switch down.

looks like its gonna be a delicate process to get the switch free of the glue without hurting it, but i'll be patient.

Did you ever get that magnesium rear hub carrier from anyone? I was going through my work table and came across a couple, used obviously. Let me know if you need them.

unfortunately my yz hasnt made any progression at all. i didnt really know what i needed and was in major rc/burnout mode when it seemed everybody was offering parts but after looking at it better than just pulling it out of the box it looks like all i need is a carrier and a chub for the right front (and a hingepin for the chub/a-arm). if any of you guys have those in pretty good shape and take paypal lemme know.

anyway, sniper yz10 #2:

its crazy that i've only bought 4 items over ebay the past 60 days. its kinda nice not be be a slave to the search. 8)
