Re: Johnboys Build
Hmm, it looks to be as long as the original one in my early car with only the smaller diameter section above the nose tubes. Granted by the looks of chassis through the clear body it looks like the body still has a bit lower to go.

Re: Johnboys Build
you can always put the mount on top of one of the steerings posts. imo the body drops on a little easier with both body mounts at the same angle, and the front mount off the kickup feels crooked.THE H.P FREAK wrote:HI!... I see your front body mount was massively short as well. I used a longer one with a 1/4 inch spacer under it just to get it to come through the body.

Re: Johnboys Build
Well missing 3 white stealth spacers and need to order some new screws for the stealth. Just need to get around to painting some other projects before painting the body on this thing. Then it'll be shelved for awhile. In the near future I'll work on modifying it.

Came in a lot. I don't know anything about them. Never seen cvd's with a removable pin. Just thought the blue looked good.

Re: Johnboys Build
Well the temperature jumped to over 15 degrees so I figured I'd slap some paint on this joker real quick. Tired of seeing it sitting there unpainted. Still have to get electronics for it and put some gears in it too. But it'll probably sit like this for awhile!

Re: Johnboys Build
This thing got a little attention. Eventually I'll installed JConcepts steering setup in blue as well as the nose tubes. Then I'll look to get a blue screw kit. I doubt I'll get much crazier than that. But happy with the tub now.

I like that shade of blue! I think that is the shade scr8p was trying to get on his? His did not quite turn out but still looks great! Then again it could just be the light in the photo! Where did you get your ano done?
