The more people race them the fewer mint in box examples will exist, driving their price up compared to intentionally collectable versions, of which there'll be more mint in box examples because it was marketed as collectable from the start. It's why a Beetles lunch box goes for $3500 while a Franklin Mint sterling silver plate only goes for $350.

The body mounts remind me of the 10T fronts. Maybe dye them black along with the front shock collar and spring retainers?

the 10T mounts are way too skinny. Looks like BK may have used regular plastic spacers and turned them down on a lathe. The screw hole look to go through the entire mount.

You wouldn't happen to have better pics of the mounts would you? Maybe rough dimensions too. I might draw them up in solidworks.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Brian obviously didn't like the red (could be a one-off)? from early-mid 91?

Detroit car from August 91' with new(?) livery. Note the red trans case.

The red/black version was actually Rick Vehlow's. My understanding is, Rick threw out his body at some race, Brian grabbed it and asked Rick if it were alright to use the scheme.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
