the other thing is you can make it cheaper by making your prototype/drawings have less features. It certainly doesn't need to be hollowed out underneath, this saves a ton of machining time and setup. think of it as a simple 'block' construction and it will be cheaper AND stronger.
You're quite right, the hollowed out section can be done away with as can the recessed area's where the suspension arms join - take a look and you will see what I mean. Nylon / Delrin seems like the right choice but I will also wait for some feedback from the engineering company that I am in discussions with.

From what I've understood, there is many kind of Zytel, and one of them is 6/6, but i'm not expert enough to understand everything about it

Now you're talking about it, I remember reading that the most used nylon in RC is 6/6, so you're right!

If only i was able to find the article again...
