Thanks, Rod! Sadly, I could use more. That's only half of the cars. :?

I think it looks good. Plus, paint and trim can hide a lot of flaws. :D

What flaws :? I'm going to get some of the flare back up and see the results. If that doesn't cut it I may try a light grey first.

Once it's covered in display cases, peg board, and cupboard space, it won't be so bad. Paint it, don't paint it, up to you.... but I think that 'raw' finish might grow on you, and you won't ever have a worry with marking it!

P.S. No, I don't think Farmer wallpaper would be a good idea.....

Hey folks,

Lot's of motivation on this forum, I love it :!:

I am in the process of reworking my basement to have some proper work area and storage areas. More pictures to come, but here are the workbenches I just completed today. Felt good to retire the card table I was using

I'll post more photos when I get my shelves completed and cars on display.

Lookin good dickhead, I mean Duckhead. I'm going to let mine settle a bit before I decide. I may just be mad at it because it's made me work so hard. :x

throw a couple coats of cheap white paint on it Ken and it will brighten it up a bunch. If not let it grow on you and you can always do it in the future for a change.

Aren't you supposed to insulate before winter :P

Definitely throw some white paint on it. Or white on the top half, light gray on the bottom. That wood will only get darker.

Feeling a bit better now that it's cleaned up and finished. I have a lot more stuff to hang, but I think it will be fine. Sorry for the selfie...

Much better, glad you did not paint it. Looks like it is going to be much warmer in there.
