I wouldnt of been suprised of the no tires. It was brought out ot still run vintage classes and be used. If you notice basically every race style kit does not come with tires, on and off road. some no rims. Why, so many styles fo tracks, in door out door compounds and so on. TO save the consumer the cost of tires int eh kit that 99% might just throw away or never use. The amount of people that wont use them is greater than the people that would. SO save the 10-30 bucks on the kits price and let people get the tires what work at thier home track.

Nope.. you aren't mistaken.. china is a communist country, at least in name only.. they embrace some other ideals rather than the traditional views.. maybe a "progressive communist" country?badhoopty wrote:…that is unless im mistaken.badhoopty wrote:for the most part is made my communists.

but I do understand your view on the buggy and I agree regarding re-releases from a collectors standpoint.. IMHO there are some things that are better from each cars.. I would venture to say that the plastics are better now than before as plastic technology is better now than 20 odd years ago but the fit and finish from back then is better as maufacturing was better controlled.. yes the new RC10 is a copy of the original and isn't the same and makes the older car more desireable and therefore more valuable which in turn makes the parts more valuable.. it is like the 1:1 market.. a fully restored 100% original classic car is worth more than a car made with repro parts.. and it is up to the buyer to decide which is their best choice.. I think the re re RC10's are a good value to get a fun kit versus an original that commands a high price for someone like me who is "new" to the RC10..
So to which is "better", I believe it is in the "eye of the beholder".. buy what you feel is best for you.. and just enjoy it!

Communist by name only as part of a bygone era, capitalist by economy and scale, they have taken the best parts of both and combined them, very smart
