Re: Lazer ZX build...
The shocks that I have came with an aluminum ball (bushing) installed in the shock cap for mounting. They were not loose, so I decided I would try them to start. I may later switch to the ZX5 pieces (if they fit)as they came on the parts tree with the wing mounts ( if memory serves
).

Jay Dub wrote:Thanks. Yeah, still no reply from the Kamtec guys. I guess they don't want to sell any product-awesome business plan. I decided I didn't want to use the servo mount, so I ran the servo close to the belt and drilled and counter sunk new holes in the chassis. As for the wing mount holes, no they are not a direct fit. The bottom holes needed to be elongated slightly to fit them properly. As much as I don't want to run the body and tray yet, I seem to have no choice. We will see if I run it or not
. P.S. James, I packaged up the extra set of pulleys I have, and sill be sending soon.-Jeff
Jeff,
Thanks for that. Also I am contacting HPI to see if they have the mold for your buggy, so we can get this made up. The other option is to get a woodern mold made up and use plastic bottles (the big ones and a hairdryer and you may get lucky and make a duplicate.

Re: Lazer ZX build...
if it is either than my money is on WASP.
I ordered one for a friend long ago and it defintely was more obscure name than frewer. (More obscure: as in' they didn't advertise in RCCA as far as I remember')
