Proline Class One Racing Buggy PN: 3001

Very hard to find. I will keep my eye out, I have seen them before. BTW, that is the same body that I used to use on my RC10 back in the day. I have video of it around here somewhere.

so, you could buy the car, like that, and just add your own trans?

that was an easy one............Try emailing or giving Hobbysports in Portage, Michigan a call (they are on ebay under the same name). They were the last to have them when I saw them. They are about 2 hours from me...... If they have a couple, get me one please sir.

Yeah, that was a pretty common thing back then. I bought my Schumacher Cat XL from a local hobby shop that had built up a kit with a TRC graphite chassis, Trinity diffs and belts, custom body and wing, and a few other parts to make a special edition kit. When you got the kit, it was basically a box with all of the aftermarket parts, still in the original bags. They just put everything together for you.

Thanks Jay, I'll give them a call tomorrow at the office.

Just got off of the phone with them, and unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock—even in the closeout bin. I'm still looking...

Time to ressurrect this thread. Doug, I have a single seater body for you if you want it. The only bad thing is that it is poorly cut and has a hole in the side pod. I figured I would offer it up to see if you can do anything with it. Worst case, if you don't want it, I will keep it to see if I can make a repo mold from it. I can post a pic if you like. Lemme know.

Jay
