Worlds runner project

Post by ra272 »

Hi, this is my runner project.
I am a newbie in vintage RC, I bought this car on ebay a few weeks ago.

It was in really really bad shape.....look the following images:

I decided to fix it with used parts, and make a cheap runner.

Now it looks better:

The only new parts I bought are the tires (Tower) one shock body and two axles (Assoman) and a pair off rear wheels (Coxyben gived me the front ones for free :) ).

It will race with other vintage cars in my club soon

Apologies to thread starter, but to follow up: Has anyone tried anything to get white parts back to white?
Haha do they make white dye?

sorry, i had to mess with ya. couldn't help it.

i don't think there's any way of getting the parts to look new again. the only thing you can do is clean them the best you can. pretty much any kind of cleaner will do the job. personally, i like spray 9, or greased lightning. a lot of the guys on here use simple green. and also castrol super clean.

just read the labels before using. i know the greased lightning will remove anodizing.
