My First RC10

Post by mark »

Picked this up a couple weeks ago, it's in really nice shape. Hard to tell in some of the pics but the a-arms are a little diss-colored but not too bad. The gold pan is in nice shape, has a few scratches on the front plate but it's really nice from there back. It came with a Novak esc, not sure what one but it has a "4" off to the right side. I have the white battery cup but the rear of it has been cut out. It has a stock AE motor and what looks to be the complete mechanical speed controller with the servo and white servo mounts. It also still has the white antena mount in the pan. The tires are like new, still soft with lots of tread left.

Very nice! The pan is very clean. I love the virgin tires too. Are you going to run it or put it on a shelf?

Thanks

I have to run it at least once or twice, but it will be light use.

Maybe you spent a lot of money for this really nice Edinger car, so if you run it and put scratches on anything you've just gutted the value of your pristine very collectible RC10 and if you didn't pay a lot then look around here and on eBay before you destroy a beautiful car like that so you know what it's worth. jmo

lol I'm not going to destroy it :D But if you really feel that strongly about it and you want to save it from destruction...make me an offer

honestly that's too nice to run. A survivor like this should be shelved. There are plenty of $40-60 rc10's to bash with.

Nice car!!! Congrats!
And I'd run it myself.....as RC10's, even earlier one's, aren't really "rare".....
There are PLENTY of restored shelf queens around anyway to "look" at........

RC10's in this shape are rare. Sure there are a lot of shelf queens too look at but maybe Mark will want one of those someday. I had like 5 different Rc10's before I found the pristine one I kept. Ultimately it's his car and he can do what he wantes with it.

If I do run it, it wont see any jumps, it would just be a light run in some packed beach sand.

But the way people are talking, I'm thinking I should put it on ebay and see what I can get for it
