Picture of my Jrx2 when it was new.
Picture of my Dad's Jrx2 next to mine.
We still have both cars, but mine needs some TLC.

I got pictures of most of my cars from back in the day. Wish I had more pictures of them in action though.

How it looks today.
Once I am finished with my Rc-10 I plan to spend some time cleaning it up.

Re: Some Old pictures of My Jrx2
Hey that looks in pretty good shape - it looks like a clean-up is all it needs. I'm guessing by the wing that this was used as a dirt-oval car?? That class seemed to pass us by here in the UK, we had a 1/8th I.C stock class but that was raced on tarmac ovals...soniccj5 wrote:How it looks today.

Great pictures. I don't think I ever saw the "limited introduction" box. I'm assuming that yours was a very early release? Also-any idea if the narrow wing and front tires were original?

Re: Some Old pictures of My Jrx2
The tires in the first picture are original, but the aluminium wing is not. The red and white Jrx2 is my dads and has the stock wing mounted. I still have my stock wing, but I never finished cutting it out. I was dumb and painted it wrong..
It was purchased as soon as Losi put them on the market and stashed away until Christmas. I went to the hobby shop(Bill's Hoby Barn in Sudbury, MA) with my Mom to help buy my dads. He had no idea, and was very surprised that Christmas morning.
I mostly raced it on a dirt oval. It is still in good shape. I would like to find a new batter hold down and I might have to purchase a Mr.Lexan repro body some day.

EDIT: Added Hobby Shop name

Seeing old pictures like that brings back alot of good memories of running around to all the tracks and racing with my buddies. Great times. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
