Painted DS Body Question

Post by metallicats33 »

Did any of the AE bodies ever come pre-painted? I have a Mustang DS body that's painted red and came in the Package.

Thanks,
James

Not that I ever heard of.
Do you mean you were the one that broke the factory seal on the box, or you bought a like-new one unassembled in the box and the body happened to have been painted?

I didn't think any DS came with shells in the box, none I have seen came in a big enough box, and only factory painted early shell I ever came across was an RC10GT

wow, I didn't think I was ever going to get a response on this
The Body is by itself. I got it at a Hobby Shop that is now closed so I can't ask the owner about it. It's Painted red and done very well with no signs of overs pray, runs, etc... I know some of the original RC10 Bodies were available painted from AE so that's why I'm curious about this one. It's hard to tell if it was opened, painted and re-sealed because the header card is so worn and beat up
