Anyone know what these are? I found them in a basement, worth selling or worth junking? I know nothing of slot cars.
Any questions let me know, and I'll take a look.
Slot cars, can anyone tell me what I got?

some of those old t-jet slot cars can bring a pretty penny. so i wouldn't just junk them. i'd throw them up on the bay for a low opening bid and let them ride.

Keywords like "vintage afx" or "vintage aurora" should help it out.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

Re: Slot cars, can anyone tell me what I got?
Mike,
My advice would be to put them on as a lot. The tow truck would be worth a few bucks but it's missing it's most prize part. The green indy racer uses a slim line chassis and without isn't very desireable. There are many slot car guys that will use these as parts to fix another body and I just think as a lot you may do better. I do have a collectors guide that I can give you the desired number of each car, but it will be hard to depreciate the price. Best of luck.

If it isn't broke, I haven't driven it yet.

Hey Mike, they are junk! Just send them all to me!
No just kidding! You have Aurora T-Jets and one "blue toy truck" ( it's not a slot car) the green E-Type is junk and only good for the front bumper as spares. The red Chapparal looks good but is missing the drivers head. The green Indy Car looks ok. Blue truck is a push toy! The Tow truck is sadly missing the roof. The white Riv looks ok (no bent window posts).
None of the cars are that rare but as a lot could fetch some money on eBay. You need to show pictures of the body screw posts (under side) and the rears. If the posts are split or missing they are worth much less.
This may be worth your while! You can find a replacement glass for your Wrecker here http://www.ho-slotcars.com/ for $7.00, you would have to paint the roof. They have drivers heads and other parts. If you do a full resto on each car and sell them as singles. You will get much more money!

The Indianapolis racer (and Grand Prix racer) uses the standard chassis, I recall the olive green being slightly more valuable...or is that just the Mustang hardtop?
The slimline cars were Formula 1s (Repco Brabham and BRM McLaren) and the 1932 Ford pick-up truck.
Definitely worth putting on the bay.

Re: Slot cars, can anyone tell me what I got?
Worth sellin on the bay separately. I would use phrases like 'actual t-jet' or 'original t-jet' in the title. Or use actual part/model numbers in the title. The bottom literally fell out of slot car profits when Johnny Lightning, Autoworld,Etc.,etc. started repro-ing the originals to the 't'. Its hard to tell the difference by the pix and you of course have the guys out there that will tell you that 'this is an original' then when you get it you have a $15.99 car you paid 5X than that for
. I remember when I was payin $150-$200 for a htf cars which if you want to wade thru all the BS ebay auctions to find originals that you can get for $35 now
If that link doesn't get you model/part numbers drop me a pm and I'll dig out my 'bible' and get you some.
