1990 RC10 Graphite

Post by grumppee »

I'm currently restoring this early RC10 Graphite that I received as a Christmas present back in 1990.

It's sitting on a set of HPI rims which have had the chrome paint removed and dyed black. The car has a Traxxas XL1 esc and a 540 motor.

I recently installed a set of bearings for the 6 gear, including those for the outdrive.

I'm glad I held onto it through the years. When I went from electric to nitro I thought about selling it on ebay, but I can't part with it.

I think you'll find that your glad you didn't sell it. I am sure the intrinsic value of that car is worth more to you that what you could get for it on epay.

The washers allow you to use the AE bearings in Tamiya front wheels
