Re: Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Al
This was sent to me recently from a friend on Facebook. This was taken at the 1990 NM State championships. I am the guy in the striped shirt and I had 100% sun block on my nose, Hahaha... Oh the kid with the Goofy hat, wore that till he was about 18... He wore it everywhere, even to school. Ya I know what your thinking. he was a good kid though and passed away around 10 years ago or so. For the record though, that kid won a National Championship in 1/8 onroad and did it wearing that hat. The kid to my left is Scott Spear, he is a member here that goes by S.Spear.

First off, sorry about the picture of pictures! What's a scanner?
This old six gear made it to RC Car Action's Readers Rides! I still raced this even though I had a Team Car!
My CE with Stealth and Team Shocks
CE before all the Team Car upgrades
My Serpent Impact that I drove at the Serpent World Challenge in Miami. Back when I lived in Jamaica! Cool car though!

Christmas 1984, where it all started and our first hobby grade RC cars. Mine was the Brat and my brother's was the Holiday Buggy. I can remember the package. My gramps put them together for us. He left one of antenna wires on the Brat sticking through the box and put a cylinder wrapped with wrapping paper over it. I picked up the can and it just came off and I got yelled at for touching it. Look at just the wire, I had no idea what it was.

The Hunters.... these were CHEAP BITD, I remember them being $44.95 with COD. Mine = yellow, my brothers = blue.
NOTE: the red and blue one, seems I had MRLEXAN in my blood since 8th grade. I made that body in Shop class, we had a vacuum former project and I had to do an RC body. It worked, but not has I really wanted. Came out wavy and was very fragile.
Finally, the 55 Chevy body inspired by a SCORE racer from back then.

I dont believe I have this anymore (this is me kicking myself in the arse). A 1/12 Parma Capri body painted after the Roush Racing Mustang GTO of Bruce Jenner, my fav a the time and prob still today IMSA GTO car. I had Bruce and Scott Pruett sign it in the mid 1980s at the West Palm Beach Grand Prix (pic is from that exact race too).

Dug out the one I kept, 1/12 Parma Probe GTP. Painted this in the 1980s, though I can't remember the exact year. Not to bad for a youngster and a couple of raddle cans. Autographs are geninue too, Pete Halsmer and Lyn St James.
