RC10 Collection
My parents after 20 years have asked my brother and I to clear out the RC stuff from the basement. Lots and lots of stuff. tires, motors(checkpoints) pics posted on this forum by someone else, lots of spare parts
Race Prep Radiant sold
Tamiya Avante sold
Kyosho stretch mid sold
Schumacher Cat
stretch mid
2+ RC10
Lotus carpet car
Kyosho Lazer
The boxes of stuff was a little overwhelming so the first thing I did was sell off the cars that were still assembled and ready for sale.
Well next up were goingto be the RC10's but I am getting the itch back. Maybe one or two more rebuilds. When I referred to 2+ Rc10's I mean I had two that were basically ready to go but now I realize I have some fairly special cars. I am here for advice. I have all these cars and I was looking to build the best car I could. Here are my parts and cars. Other items not included in pics are mip, stealth and stock dif. I think some of the black cars parts may have been dyed. If you like clarification on other parts let me know. Lots of other parts in boxes but not sure as of yet which parts go with which car. My thoughts are building up the graphite to original. Build a saddle pack chassis with the rest of the parts . Trouble saving pics too big will try again soon.

Re: RC10 Collection
Thats what I am afraid of. For the last week I have had two cars and three boxes in my living room. My wife hasn't said anything yet but I know it's coming. You can see I took your advice and started building up the graphite. I recently saw it written that the RC10 holy grail was a black pan with white parts and spoked wheels. I was beginning to think I should take that route but not sure.

Kinda true but not on a graphite. I think what you are thinking of is a "Worlds" car thats a black Tub like the gold ones but has milled out sections. Ask Reg, he will show you a pile of them!korky wrote:Thats what I am afraid of. For the last week I have had two cars and three boxes in my living room. Re: RC10 Collection
Doesn't the black car have the tub your referring to? I was looking to build up that chassis with the proper parts.

Re: RC10 Collection
Dave, the black tub you have is a B stamped chassis. I though it was a Team Car, but didn't really pay attention to the parts. I had my eyes on the Radiant and Lazer.

Nope,It doesn't have the milled out areas of the chassis. Here are some pics of a worlds car. Yours appears to be a team car which is still a rare care if in new condition which it appears yours is notkorky wrote:Doesn't the black car have the tub your referring to? Re: RC10 Collection
fastang... I must say if we were to race Worlds cars I might win because i've got a motor in mine...LOL I also have the black parts that make the car go faster too.
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Its not mine. Probably C.D.S's! He own 85% of them ever sold!
I just borrowed the pic to show the difference.
