Newbie To Yokomo YZ-10 ??

What model is this? Could you guys look at this picture (sorry for quality) and tell me what I need to get this thing restored? I'm just not familiar with these and am just looking for the obvious things I might need. I don't have the car in hand but should have it within the next week or so. Thanks for any help.

870c, looks like associated shocks, and aftermarket arms. I don't think they had black spur gears, so there is probably some sort of adapter on there, which is a good thing. Very hard to tell anything else from the small pic.

nice car, should clean up nicely.

the obvious missing stuff are the battery straps and standoffs.

Thanks for the info and yes I'm sorry for the pic quality...are the items that are missing available to some degree or will it be a seek out and find type deal?

The answer depends on what you are trying to do. Is this going to be a shelfer when you are done, or are you going to run it? I am running mine, and whatever I could not find, or thought was prone to breaking, I have had made. For instance, I had the shock towers for both the front and back, as well as the suspension arms made from jetted aluminum. I replaced all the turnbuckles and steering arms with RPM ends and Associated turnbuckle rod. I used aluminum servo posts as well as blue anodized aluminum battery stand offs. I fabbed a battery tie down for the side I didn't have from a tie down from another car.

But my car is going to be (and is) a runner. For everything else, start shopping the bay. There are a few different searches I have been using:

Yokomo YZ10
Yokomo YZ-10
Yokomo 870c
Yokomo zc

Give it a shot.....

Thanks ya'll this helps me alot. I will determine the condition of the car once I have it in hand. More than likely it will be a shelfer and I will start the search on the Bay. Is there a manual anywhere on the forum for this model?
