Need more information on these
Ok, these are Factory Works ultra lite diff drives that I bought years ago but never used. I was going to put them on my Worlds car but then that got converted to a DS and at the time I put MIP light drives on that so these have been in my spare parts bin since. So I'm wondering if any one has used them or knows if they're common/rare or not. I'm thinking of painting them and putting them on another project car that will be a shelf queen only. The instructions for them have tons of warnings about proper usage and do not over tighten and over gear because they will melt etc. I guess plastic will do that. Thanks

I would not paint them. they are the lightest outdrives available for the original 2.25 stealth and I'm sure quite a few people are looking for them.lpddpd wrote:Ok, these are Factory Works ultra lite diff drives that I bought years ago but never used. Re: Need more information on these
Daryl lane of A&L (later became factory works) is a member here. From what I remember reading these were a top-level racing product= meant to give top performance at the cost of durability. they'd wear quickly and 'd be replaced in principle after a couple races.
Shelfer material unless you can find a high-level vintage event and only race once or twice a year
