new member in awe
like the title says i am a new member to this forum i was refered here by doug carter after reading his vintage posts on dirtoval.com. i am a oval racer who also loves vintage rides. i have been checking out some of the rides you guys have and i am in awe. some of these cars are true works of art and belong in musems on revolving stands with spotlights.you guys really know youre stuff and really pay attention to the details. i really like the mip 4wd conversions thoes are Immaculate. you guys are really innovative with parts combinations and custom machining of parts.
i currently race oval converted rc-10 based trucks, edm and a losi based edm.i have a rc-10t with terminator mid conversion, factory works towers, thorp 64 pitch tranny, custom machined nose plate, the list is endless. this gets raced every week and consistintly wins aginst t3's t4's and losi's.after 4 years of tuning i have no intentions on running anything else.
my rc-10 edm is also a terminator conversion with 64 pitch tranny and other vintage go fast goodies.that also runs consistintly with the current b3 terminators.
i also have a losi jrx2 converted edm that i ran for 3 years but had to retire due to lack of parts. it also is mid motor with just about every aftremarket part available on it. let me tell you a mid motor jrx series car is very competitive and easy to convert. every part is losi except the front arms which are custom works.the front end has been totaly redesigned and the xx-retro trans was even modified to run mid motor witch was something i was told couldnt be done. well after 2 months and some custom parts i did it. nobody could believe that an almost 15 year old car could compete with current terminators they couldnt believe it.
when i get pictures i will post them they dont even get dirty because we race indoors on a polished concrete floor. i dont mean to ramble on but i am just trying to let you guys know where i am coming from. i am glad to see such a vintage following alive and kicking, now i know where all the vintage ebay parts are going.

Hey, I represent that remarkEau Rouge wrote:And now for your initiation, you are required to impulse buy and pay double for some mundane part on eBay for no obvious reason, other than the fact that you HAD to have it.
Then tell us about it and ask us if you made a mistake or not.

He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
