Losi XX graphite chassis?

Post by RCveteran »

Just picked these up, what exactly did I get. I was thinking of combining this with a rear XX-cr conversion I have as well. Were these offered on any XX or was it purchased after?

They will fit perfectly your CR rear update kit.

But, are you sure about the length of this chassis ?

Standard (All XX buggy), Short (tuning) or long (XXT) ?

To be honest, I have no idea, I found it on EBAY and will see what it is when I get it.

Yea thats it, its about 1/4 inch shorter than a stock one. so it will be good on a tight track but not on a big open track.

With my Banzai driving style I am not sure I am one that can tell the difference. I read threads where guys talk about adding a shim and feeling the difference, I am amazed but just not that good.

Maybe I will resell it then  It's just so pretty. How much longer is the XXt chassis? I am still learnign about these XX's, but I am hooked and found a great vintage parts lot for practically free at a LHS so I am well stocked parts wise.

Interesting, looking at XXT pics I now know I have a set of XXT front carriers and spindles I did not know. I wonder if I have XXt rear arms and that is why my universals seem short? Hmmm? Have some investigating to do later.
