My TOP CAT Runner....
Wow i have finally learnt to post pics.
Thanks to my wife.
Well another pic this time of my TOP CAT. I got this in a Trade with Jason ( Bormac) He put one of his classic paint jobs on it for me.( Thanks Jason ) It came with no shocks so i have mounted Yeah racing shocks. New J.C Racing Wheels. Will have Li Po saddels and a new Blubird digital servo. Still have a Little more to go but this will go well with my PRO CAT that also came from Bormcs's stabel.

Thanks Jason.
I know you put alot of time into the paint job. I will be running it assoon as i get the electrics for it. It's slowly getting there. After this your Pro Cat will be next.
Will post more pics soon.

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
Mark you realy have to send me another set of those blue Option House type shocks. I can srtip the blue and polish them for you. They work very well and would make a perfect 'period' upgrade from the original Cat shocks.
You know you want to and besides they'll look right.

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
Beautiful. As a teenager I ran one in the chicagoland area and did fairly well on a local level. It was a competitor but my budget was not up to the top guys of course. The car was given to me by Cecil Schumacher at the Hobby Expo show here. It may have been one of the first years Schumacher was here as I remember and I worked at a hobby show who also had a booth. I showed interest in the car, explained I worked at shop and my racing schedule and almost fell over when he offered it to me.
I would love to find another one day as mine disappeared a long time ago.

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
I have the majority of parts needed to build one or two of these cars. The only part I need is a bumper.

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
Way to rub it in. Are the chassis and transmission the same on the later cougar as the topcat?

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
The Cougar is the same car (sans) front end and body sheel and wing. If you had an original Cougar you could very easily convert to a Topcat with the right parts.

Re: My TOP CAT Runner....
OK thanks, sadly I lost my original Topcat many years ago I believe to a monster known as Trash. Who'd a thunk in 1992 I would be longing for it some day. Live and learn!
