Show us your modern rides - B4.1 inside :)

Post by Lonestar »

Not sure there's a B4.1 thread yet... so I'm shamelessly starting one

Here's my new toy... I have to admit I had a friend paint it for me, I'm useless at any complex painting scheme

Surprise guest in the last pic.

Show us your modern rides!!!

nice b4.1

i love the hobbywing esc's, i'm running the xe-run 60amp sensored in my b4 with a speed passion 13.5.

i don't have a current pic of my b4, but this pic was taken when it was "stretched", with a t4 chassis:

now it's back to short wheelbase for the tight indoor track i'm running on.

Its a totally different experience to my RC10 Team Car, but I still love to take both with me to the track and alternate them...

Here are my current race rigs. The B4 is awesome! I'm just running an old GTB and a 13.5 that Novak had on sale a few months back. The short course truck is a Losi XXX-T MF2 with a CRC conversion on it. I just put a new Castle MMP in it today, I have only run this truck 2 or 3 times since I got it.

I finally got the 2 bodies done the other night, I've never had matching cars before but I'm starting to like it now.

Between JC and Proline, there are quite a few B4 bodies out there.. Which one is on Kiser's car?

As close as I have to "modern" is this new built Losi XXX BK2 with BK rims. Love the blue - hate the yellow.

Heres my B4 stealth model #9034. I painted and trimmed out a viper body for it cause I trashed the original(had to cut a big hole in it to run a xl-5 esc) and had this laying around.Running a Mamba Max and 5700kv motor.Regular RPM stuff on it.Need to get the wide bumper for some reason I keep running into things and breaking front arms.

I don't have a handy picture of my B4 on it's own, but this is it behind the RC10!

The one with chrome shocks and silver Lundsford turnbuckles is my runner, or "old car". The other is the "new" car, or as it has become; the test car.
