Just finished this one. Pretty much a stock RC10CE 6-gear. Shocks rebuilt with new O-rings and pistons, original trans was nice but I did replace the idler gears. Mixture of some new white parts but also peroxided parts. I have a brand new nose and motor plate but elected not to put on this one, they are saved for something. This is my 1st 6-gear, having had many stealths, it's a cool transmission in a weird sort of way.
What steering options are there, the stock steering is OK, but a bit sloppy, other than Houge, what bolts on here? Also with the newer heavy battery the springs feel a bit soft, what colors would be good for front and rear?
MY RC10CE runnner - couple questions.

I wish I still had mine. We had aluminum bellcranks on my CE back in the day. Don't know who made it but it was alot more solid than that plastic set up. Is that what your looking for?

Nice rig. A common setup BITD was green rear springs and green or black fronts (black being softer). This still holds true today, even though the cars are generally lighter (with lipos and brushless anyways). I think this due partially to the fact that we have better tires now and although we are lighter, we are transfering about the same amount of weight around due to better tires. -Jeff

Aluminum bellcranks would be nice yes, I see some no name brands online perhaps?
I should just put my Lipo in it, the 5000Mah NIMH in there is heavy. I just need some sort of voltage cutoff to add for the Novak T1-x as I plan to keep that in this one.
