My Mongrel Runner

Post by Synergy »

I put this together with the bits and pieces I had left over from my projects (I didn't even clean them  ) the only part I had to buy specially was the stealth. This is the first time I have ever run an RC10 (with exception of my TC3 which doesn't count) and I am seriously stunned at the speed these good old golds can achieve. I'm not sure of the ratio I'm using as I just stuck with the spur that came with the trans, I put a 19t pinion on it for starters. I stuck one of my old trinity D3 14x2 in it and off it went  I love it :D The future plans for this little car is the Scollins Scorcher treatment but I had to run it in LWB form first just to say I've run a gold tub :D

Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Not straight out of the packet new Tadracket but in very good shape, I don't have any others to use, I only have one other set and they are on my 6010 restoration.

The problem I have Shodog is I want a runner and a scorcher rc10 so somethings going to have to give, I suppose I could always shorten the CE and make a scorcher out of that :?:

I'm sure your joking because there are plenty of sub $50 beaters on eBay that make great runners.

Go Beetle Go!
If we can't use new, then they should just send us the used stuff instead of binning it, right? :P
