SWB C.A.T chassis sets. Any left?
I can't remember who had made them but if there are any left I am looking for the chassis set, belt and lexan items for my build.

I think CATS (Scott) was selling them Jason
Are you building a SWB runner? I would so love to drive one & see if they were as notoriously difficult to drive as they were rumoured to be (mind you SWB combined with one-way drive shafts suggests a challenging drive!)

Re: SWB C.A.T chassis sets. Any left?
Thank you guys.
I want to build a SWB just for display! ...and besides how can I call myslef a Schumacher nut if I dont atleast own the first C.A.T. I dont think these cars drive well at all (I have an XLS for the track) so I want it to be all original.

Well I know how hard the parts can be for one of these! Having sold mine last year, which I got £500 for by the way ( an offer to good to refuse) I decided to put another one together. It's taken a year but I've only just finished. I'll try and get some pics up this weekend

How long is the SWB chassis lower plate? I can easily make my own from some glass sheet.
How about the main belt? Are these available anywhere?

Main belt has 298 teeth instead of the normal 323, so you ll need to find a 80/298/4 I think there is a company in the US that does them. The links in this forum somewhere!!!
