interesting news from kuwait

Post by mugenbulldog »

I don't think it is a secret around these parts that OT-66 was in the works, but it appears they are publicly available now. And our friend has his own web site now. I might have to order 4 pairs of these. First one to order them and post pics wins!

now who is it that was selling the modern aluminum reproductions of the classic optima wheels that these tires fit? My stinger could use a new set of shoes!

It's pargu2000 from ebay, I purchased a set of the aluminum wheels for my Stinger MKII, they are identical to the plastic/chrome plated factory ones. He doesn't them listed as the moment, ask him.

lmgtfy is the best! pargu's wheels look great but cost a lot. Maybe I'll treat myself to some for xmas. Also you can still get the original Turbo Optima style wheels NIP but for the price Pargu isnt too much more. I bought some narrow fronts and tires from the tamkyo guy for a decent price.

I have a friend with a machining rig and he gave me some spare motors and a controller interface, If I find time I'll either set it up as a low budget machining rig or maybe a 3d printer. I could make lots of interesting parts either way.

I might have to scoop up a set of those wheels for my Mid SE! Very good price, too. Thanks for the link.

I bought a set for my Slingshot long ago. They are of the utmost quality. I don't think anyone would be disappointed.
