Yokomo 2WD prototype buggy B-MAX2
i'm surprise no one here has mentioned the new yokomo prototype rig. i know it's been around for a while, but i thought i would let you guys know about it. i'm real curious to how this rig flys around the track. it has a lot of similarities from other factory rigs. named "b-max2". HUGE big bore shocks.

Yokomo has rarely released lemons
the 2wd category is very very mature... most recent designs work well, if only because they're all so similar! This one will work too - no better, no worse, just like the rest!

I agree. They're all pretty much the same design. Just another plastic POS for the pile.if only because they're all so similar! This one will work too - no better, no worse, just like the rest!

Indeed...looks like every other 2WD buggy out there these days. I'm sure it performs similarly.

I wonder why they put the esc on top of the battery when there's so much space on the opposite side of the receiver still

Does Masami still work for Yokomo?

Im expecting that it will be more like Durango 210 or Losi 22???
However, this will be the first time for Yokomo on 2WD i think!

Re: Yokomo 2WD prototype buggy B-MAX2
actually the front bulkhead is a bit similar to the 22, and the rest Dex looking.
would be interested how the inside would compare to the other brand, or have something different or new.....

Re: Yokomo 2WD prototype buggy B-MAX2
i think yokomo was sick of the yokomo team drivers running the associated rc10's and b4's, for quite a while. time to jump into the 2wd arena. better late than never. wouldn't be surprised if it won next years worlds. with matsukura pulling it off. he was looking promising this year. very fast.

Re: Yokomo 2WD prototype buggy B-MAX2
I'm guessing Yokomo decided to make a 2 wheel drive buggy because Team Associated was now owned by Thunder Tiger or could it be because many Associated drivers faithful to Yokomo left when the B44 was released....their partnership has fizzled out.
