Love this car, just needs a new speed controller and possible motor upgrade. Any suggestions on a motor I should put in her?

Brushed or brushless? A Le Mans 240 (S, SB, whatever) would be an ideal brushed motor. I'd consider a 13.5T or something similar for a brushless setup.

Well, she's ready to roll after nearly 6-months of not running. I put an 18-turn motor in her, but am considering a 13.5 brushless. I just dont want it to spin out of control when i drive it using brushless setup

I'd do something about those motor wires hanging out of the back...they're just begging to snag something at high speed and tearing off your motor. :o

I also think you might find the 18T motor a bit...uninspiring. That's pretty close to a stock 540 motor in terms of performance. It'll be safe at those speeds, anyway. :)
