Re: RC10 build NOT using any RC10 parts...........
tecnacraft axles would be sweet. Flipwils has some in his f/s thread too .
I have fought with the whole picture thing for a long time til I started uploading all my pix to http://www.photobucket.com. Really easy process actually. Simple click and paste from there.
Can't wait to see pix myself. From the time of a similar thread here a lil while ago I've been thinkin this myself but for now its just not feasible.

Re: RC10 build NOT using any RC10 parts...........
it's very easy to resize a pic in paint using the 'stretch/skew' function. I've posted how to do that in a few threads now....
I'd second the robinson racing steering, it replaces all the hub parts, otherwise you'd need to figure out a way to use the tecna axles with an aftermarket spinde arm.
shocks I would say go with the kyosho golds, or as mentioned the HG or MIP. I take it you will be using a litespeed heatsink or what is your choice for a motor mount?

Re: RC10 build NOT using any RC10 parts...........
I dunno, Can't please everyone!! LOL.
TQ chassis is sweet, and not part of the "standard" kit, thought I might get away with that one.....
Fibre Lyte, still have the mould for the Tub, they are a bit busy at the moment, however would do a one of for around £120 or batch of ten about £100 each...
I've got me eyes out for some other chassis, just the TQ one I had is new... We'll see how it goes..
Got fibre Lyte front and rear shock towers, very nice as ever.
Shame the trans brace doesn't fit the MIP trans, as it was made for the stealth! Dooh, it'll find a use somewhere!
I WILL get the album going this afternoon, it's just given us 6" of snow here and A: the dogs want to go play B: I want to play 4x4 fun!!!
Later peeps.
p.s. keep the ideas coming!

Re: RC10 build NOT using any RC10 parts...........
you are in luck. That's not a TQ10 chassis. Composite Craft/Trinity/Duratrax something....not sure which.
I didn't realize andys had the spindle arms, in that case, yep, the techna front axles would be perfect.

I agree....scr8p wrote:i don't know. i don't think i would call a tq10 chassis an aftermarket rc10 chassis. it was a kit produced by associated and sold through horizon.
what your gonna end up with is a decked out tq10, not an all aftermarket rc10.
just my 2 cents.....
