Been awhile since I have posted anything new. Have barely found the time to visit the board let alone build anything. Got some free time over the weekend and wrapped up a couple stalled projects.
This one is a BME oval chassis with some random parts bolted on. The rear bumper is from Ascot I think and the nerfs are off a BBT sprint. Not sure the make of the gold aluminum carriers. Anybody have an idea? They were on a composite craft worlds double decker that was raced bitd so I am thinking they are from that time period. The wheels are advanced and it has a team pit stop trans. Planning on mounting a McAllister modified coupe body. The original plan was to use the mcallister front lowering kit but as the front plate is offset I would need a longer front shock on the right hand side. I don't have one on hand right now so I mounted the shocks to the tower. Mocking the body up it looks like they might fit inside the front fenders of the coupe body.
Awesome! It's nice to finally see another one of these built. Maybe I should finish the other three I have.
I ran into the same problem with my BME build and the front shock. I just used a longer ball end on the shaft to make up the difference in length. I also had to make my own chassis brace on the left when using the lowering kit.

Good Idea! Thank you

The tires and wheels are new. I didn't glue anything together as this will probably never be run. The fronts are pro-line street hawgs and the rears are old duratrax.
very nice. i have a bme build going on now too. not sure which way i want to go, dirt oval or asphalt oval with a sk body.
i like your chassis bracing. i'm using a&l's at them moment but yours looks sharp!
