-Yokomo YZ-10 "World Champion Special" aka Pavidis edition-
Can someone tell me what is this Yokie worth? Year? Model? Rarity? I bought it as is for about 100$ and seems in very good shape. I haven't received it yet and don't know if I will keep it or not. It was just too cheap to resist

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
I don't know my mid aged Yoks as well as the early ones, but I believe that it is a 93 Worlds????? If you decide to part with it, I would be good for a trade or some other deal.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
Damn, now everyone wants a Yoke...
I too am sort of enamored with them... I'd prefer a YZ10 or an MX4 done up as an AE team replica. I'm really thinking I should have sprung for that YZ10 Jay... Maybe not really...

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
I just got done rebuilding a MX-4, WOW, what I car. I am not much of a new car guy, but I was dinking around with an MRP Pro-110 (not the S2 Jim) just prior to tearing down the MX-4 and what a piece of you know what the Pro-110 is. The MX-4, is a well build car, I LOVE IT! I am sure some of the other new stuff is just as much of a pleasure to work on as the MX-4.
I would go for an MX4, but I love the YZ10s.... just need to fill in my blank of the Werks/World's cars. HINT, HINT!

Saw that one.... looks nice. I would go for it (I am suggesting you go for it, I am not).

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
That looks like a YZ10... the "smooth track" version... Didn't that car evolve a few times? Later "rough track" version had a dampner on the top plate?Asso_man! wrote:Can someone tell me what is this Yokie worth? Year? Model? Rarity? I'm still learning.

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
Like I said, those mid aged years, for some reason, have always been a grey area for me. I am stealing pics, hope the owners dont mind. These are the two that I know the least about and want to find:

Re: What is this Yokie worth?
Ooooh, I like the G10 top plated YZ10! I love the white fiberglass stuff! I'm sure that was the "entry level" version, which probably makes it all the rarer.
Kind of like a B2 that hasn't been "converted" into a B3 in my book.

I have a works 91 I think it was the first with the "new style" of body and the first not to carry the YZ10 name (I think)

Yokomo YZ10 Worlds, vintage 1996. Standard version had the fibreglass parts, worlds version the carbon ones. You've got a bargain there as the same car first sold on ebay for $170 last month. http://cgi.ebay.fr/YOKOMO-YZ10-WORLD-version-competition_W0QQitemZ330155552219
