Tekin TSC 420F esc. Seller's ebay description read, "Vintage tekin TSC 420f esc out of a old Losi xxt truck. ESC works great still."
Still trying to figure out how it "works great", while it doesn't work at all without a on/off switch...?? Will need to add a new switch and replace the wire and hope it actually works. From past experience, certainly not holding my breath. But the heatsinks alone are worth what I paid.
Anyone have a go-to where to get new switches and wire at for ESC repair?

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I have a problem. A DR10 followed me home. I can't stand No-Prep, but a $99 kit with free shipping and no sales tax was tough to pass up. I think I'll turn it into a buggy.
I got this Team Magic Vampire 2wd from Romulus a few weeks ago. Should be a fun build.
Then there was Ultima GP ST that I couldn't pass up. The front bulkhead is cracked and the tank is broken at the mounts. Does anyone have a new one that they would be willing to part with?

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
The obsession with square body Chevy pickups continues.
Traxxas just got these clear bodies in stock so I went ahead and ordered one (I'm too cheap to buy the entire truck).
The box arrived looking like it's been ran over so I was a little worried. Fortunately, all appears to be good.
Anyway, I have no immediate plans for this one so it will go on the pile for future projects.

Team Durango DESC10. This design used their 1/8 scale buggy chassis and parts but built as a 9+ pound beast of a 1/10 scale 4wd short course truck. 16mm shocks and 17mm wheel nuts on a 1/10 sc truck.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
The front suspension looks similar to the Associated pan cars, but with slight differences. A very interesting Tamiya. Now I need to find a source of unmounted front and rear 1/12 scale foam tires to replace the rubber tires.
I'm assuming the rubber tires on mine are wrong for it and that it should be foams.

That car will make you appreciate Tamiya so much more! Fantastically designed vehicle! I have kept my eye open for another one, but they are usually out of my range for a second car.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I wasn't really looking for a Tamiya MK5 but overpaid a little for the receiver because it came with a cool car. I've got a TBG body for it on order now, so I guess it's another project in the heap that gets to wait it's turn.
