Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got a box of total awesomeness today! I have been collecting electronics for my JJ Ultima build. I have a period correct Trinity modified, a period correct Novak NER2S receiver for G plug connectors, and a G plug S32 steering servo. I have a gold label Mospower ESC, but with a J plug connector. I came across an appropriate Tekin ESC with G plug. It has an awesome ownership pedigree for my JJ Ultima build.
. .
The additional awesomeness is a sweet KO KR282A receiver and a Novak team issued T-1 ESC with an added torque limiter.
My JJ Ultima build next year is going to be fun. The test drive will be especially fun!

Hmm would be fun to design a newer version of that.
So got a nice surprise in the mail today Also I had bought the "B grade" graphite chassis as well and not only was it basically perfect they sent all the supporting parts with it. Might design some different parts for this car as well. Some jellybean style wheels and classic style tires would be neat.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Got some cool stuff today!
Cheapest part was 20 cents, the most expensive 40 bucks
I know this isn’t the right thread to ask questions but can someone give me a quick heads up what makes this Reedy Sonic a “?“ because I don’t get it.
Would it be worth keeping in the package?

Ok thanks! So it basically means it's a 10 Turn double. It just threw me off that all the other ones I’ve seen were denoted by letters.

Motors new in package tend to sell for a significant premium, if you're willing to wait for the right buyer. I prefer new condition but not in packaging because they are cheaper and then I don't feel bad about destroying value by opening the package to run it a little.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Another Tekin Speed Star that actually works (I'm surprised any time I get a used Tekin that works). And LRP AI Automatic Pro Reverse ESC.
An early Trinity Monster Horsepower when they used Kyosho three-piece can & endbell. And a pink label Monster Horsepower with purple endbell heatsinks for my brother's Blue Eagle LS build. He had this motor in his Blue Eagle in the early '90s except he had the aluminum endbell which was an upgrade option from Trinity back then, which is pretty much unobtainable now-a-days.
Set of RC10 B6 12mm shocks for a future RC10 B4 build.
