what body is this?

Post by cautrell05 »

I'm sure this one has been discontinued for a while now. Is there any repops available or something similar? The guys at the track talked me into possibly running truck next year. Rather than get a t4 like everybody else Ifigured I would make use of the RPM 10T that is sitting in pieces. The body is in pretty rough shape but most of the new ones are just fugly IMO. Thanks

Nick

This looks to be the same body...I'm not totally sure but I don't see why it would not fit...

Since the "L" of A&L is a member, have we ever asked if the molds still exist? They had a few killer bodies bitd, would be nice to see some made again. I haven't been here long enough to know if we already covered that topic tho!

I tend to agree with that. I think it's just the nature of stadium trucks. They have to have plenty of real estate underneath them to accommodate big suspension along with big tires. I think that just makes it very hard for anyone to make a sleek looking body that is still functional on the track.

I will have to keep looking. There has to be some old ones for the t2 or t3 out there. Im not a good enough driver to need the "function" of the newer bodys. I want something that looks decent at least.

And for anyone that is worried, no, I am not going to cut and redrill the noseplate of the chassis if I use those arms.

why not just get a t2 body. it's similar to the 10t and you can get one right off associated's website.

The only T3 body you can get is the Asso Ford, the Proline Chevy version is tough to find.

I agree, I'd get the T2 body for that truck.

That A&L Slam It looks a lot like a Traxxas Blue Eagle LS body. May be able to find one of those... or a re-pop of one.
