Yeah the body is just sitting on the car. Right now all looks no go. It has body mounts to get it up enough to run but I won't be running this one. Well unless I find a nicer one to replace it as my shelf queen.
The Street Devil is such a beautiful car. The world of RC needs more hot rods, lovely looking RC you have there Sounds crazy, but I'd love to race something like it
I agree there should be more. There were only two Tamiyas that came with Parma bodys. This one and the 58153: Daytona Thunder. I have never seen a Daytona outside of forum pics.
It was pretty fast with the LRP ZR.32 spec 2, but that really is a torque monster off-road engine, not a high revving screamer, so it got transferred to my OFNA Ultra LX Comp buggy.
So, that beautiful blue engine:
Is getting replaced with a...

Have you thought about putting a slammed body on it? Ya know aerodynamics and all that scientific mumbo jumbo
So I stumbled upon a deal for a $20 generically labeled Losi Street Weapon a few months back . I put it to the side not sure what to do with it and then ended up picking up a few nice on road bodies and thought the SW would be a nice home for the...

All the losi belts from the SW/XX4, XXXS, etc break down with age. Even if you find them NOS they will probably be no good. Tough Racing should have them for sale, but in a different material.
Street weapons also used a smaller hex with zero offset...
Picked this up off the old Bay. Appears to have very low miles, chassis almost new, ball ends and various other parts like new. Good cleaning and it should be dominating the streets weapon style.
Need to get saddleback, anyone can recommend a...

I nominate Street Weapon as best name ever for RC car. If not best name ever for an 80's kung fu movie.

Yes .will put some carbon fiber(DIY) straips in the sides for strength the thing little bit.
I saw this Veyron on Sunday. It's nice to know that these cars don't always end up on blocks and instead get driven. Not sure where this one finished in the 2012 Gold Rush Rally
Hey all, heres a shelf model / light street runner JRX2 that I'm working on here and there. Finally took some new pics, almost done with the build. I still have a few things left... to build a motor, drop a Tekin ESC, lower the ride, and swap the...

That's a sharp JRX2. Love the old 5 link cars. Nice job on the paint.
I got a kick out of this and thought I'd share. He builds radio controlled versions too! :D
I wish there was someone around me with their own personal street sweeper...sure would be nice to have them make a few passes on my favorite R/C lot...

You didn't see his RC sweepers? Those are about perfect canine-sized pooper-scoopers.
Ugggh! That's worse....imagine having to clean the RC sweeper after it's sloshed through that dog mess. :x
