I watched these cars tear up the track in the 80's, they sounded terrible but were fast as hell. Picked this one up locally and figured if I started a thread a might actually work on it

the parts seem to be in good condition under the dust and dirt. nice score

Cleaned up the "spare" chassis and the wheels also found some tires I had on RC10 wheels. Still plan / hope to source new wheels & tires.

Wow Brian, I am impressed. Those wheels turned out fantastic, hard to believe they're the same. That new spare chassis looks ten times better without the rust stains, can't wait to see it all finished in person.

Those wheels and tires look almost brand new not sure why you want to replace them , this is going to be a great looking car when you finish.

think he means he found the correct team losi labeled tires on rc10 rims, which are now on the cleaned up 834b rims. ??

Yes, I found the correct tires - But I would still like to upgrade to new condition wheels & tires if the opportunity arises
