What is the cheapest route for a charger for this battery. 1900mAh lipo 7.4v says not to exceed 1C charge rate
Just got a losi slider off CL with lots of aluminum upgrades and a mamba 2S castle esc and brushless setup. Tryiing to get it in running shape
Just about any lipo compatible charger should work. You can find some a little cheaper than this one, but I know people that use it and it has a lot of features and modes for the money. I'm not 100% sure what balancing tab that uses though. You can get balance boards for about $5-6 though. http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

If you can afford brushless right off the bat, they can be programmed to do fwd/brk OR fwd/brk/rev. Very handy. Plus they are faster and more energy efficient which means your batteries will...

I have a 6volt/12volt charger that charges at 2,4 or 6 amps.

Ive just received my pb mini mustang complete with original futuba transmitter, reiever and servo.
It has also been fitted with a parma yokomo motor which appears to be period correct.

I'd try the new pinion first and see where you are , mind you the Parma Yokomo is a nice vintage motor and a new Tamiya sport tuned is kind of expendable so not a bad idea .
