The Outlaw Ultima truck is one of the RCs I drooled over as a kid. It was just something about the way it looked, and it still looks cool to me. I'll be watching this build. I'd like to get one someday.

I'll definitely watch your build with interest, here's a pic of mine

Of interest, does yours have the chassis side guards that fill the gap between the chassis and body. I've been unable to locate any, and have been considering making some out of some styrene sheet or similar
You name it - and I want it ;)

Hi,
Nice one! Mine does miss the side guards too and i have been searching like hell for new/better used, but no luck so far.
I think that they where not used when using stick battery packs. My neighbor had one off these when we where kids and he cut a hole in the "Guards" Just to change the stick pack.

Nice job!
Do those use an Ultima II chassis,or is it different?
Think I almost have the parts to build one,bar the chassis.

Yes it's the Ultima II chassis. The difference is in the front end (body posts, shocks and tower).
