The worst wreck

Post by DMAT »

Just thought we could post some stories of the worst ways we've wrecked our cars.

id say mine was doing speed run with a rustler. about the 55-60 range, the front end came up and it cut to the left into a curb. It ripped off the Left rear wheel, arm, parts of the shock tower. exploded the wheelie bar and Bent the velineon motor down the middle to the tune of about 15-20 degree. I think the chassis and tranny case was the only thing on the rear end I didnt replace after that wreck.

This wasn't me but had to share it, lol. Douchebaggery at its finest (only topped by him posting the video on the Internet. Think his insurance claim will be denied when the adjuster finds this viral video?)

That is one of the best looking BMWs I've ever seen.

Let's hope the "Ultimate (douche)/Driving Machine"'s owner was OK.
Projects and shelfers:

I once ran my brand new tub chassis gt into a stop sign at wot. There was only a handful of useable parts left. Wish I had pics, but this was long before digital photos. Around the same time I had convinced one of my buddies to get into rc, and he decided to get a pos kyosho sandmaster st. We were chasing each other up and down the street, and some how he ended up at a dead stop right in front of me, I hit him full speed. It looked like a cartoon, little plastic pieces of kyosho shrapnel going in every direction, the gt was fine.

Hey now BMW haters, lets judge the douche driver and not the car. Remember 4 out of 4 vehicles in my household have the Roundel on the hood.

mine was a mail box post tuning a new motor on my gt. Had shrapnel pix up on CR racings board for a long time but are gone now. Tore off the complete right side starting at the front breaking all pieces related to the front even breaking the MIP steering crank :x . Took off the rear also breaking all related parts down to the RPM oversized hub on that side.

That one turned into a complete left handed donor carcass.

one of the guys that worked for me got a gt from me and hit the same mail box one day but head on right in the center. Bent the flat chassis right behind the nose tube mounts bad enuf that it barely had enuf ground clearance to keep from dragging on the ground

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Who needs a pole saw when you got one of those!

I never raced any offroad, but I remember when I first raced my Losi LX-T on carpet oval and I hit the wooden outer border. I broke a front a rear arm, both hub carriers, rear arm mount & rear bulkhead. I even bent a Lunsford punisher and a few hinge pins, and destroyed an HPI SuperStar wheel, all on a 27T and 6-cell.

I bent this gold pan nose tube back in '88. I somehow managed to plow into a cinder block wall. No, I wasn't trying to replicate that old MRC ad of same. :)

I'd say mine was when I had a Mamba Max 5700 in my RC10 truggy thingy doing wheelies on the beach. When into about a 20ft wheelie I ran over a piece of seaweed and the RC10 veered into the ocean destroying my 6000mAh lipo, and brushless esc system. Ruining electronics sucks hard.

I knew something bad was going to happen with the Heli, the yard looked way to small and some serious operator error.
