what is this for?
what is this for?
I got this chassis with an rc10 and I have no clue what it is or what it was used for. the previous owner looks like they attempted to put a car together with misc. parts he probably had laying around. anybody know what it is supposed to be and look like??

Re: what is this for?
It's thrown together. Bolink front suspension plate flipped around. Not sure of the pod and chassis ill have to stare at them for a bit.
It almost looks like a rc10 conversion chassis where you run pan front end and rc10 rear, but then they put a on road pod on it

I don't know but that pod is a little intriguing to me. I just can't remember a car with a pod like that.

Someone was making a pan car to fit a body they had? Or just bored on a Sunday afternoon...
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Re: what is this for?
Thanks for the help on identifying it I will try and look for pictures on what it was supposed to look like.Phin wrote:Got an ID for this car....it's a Fine Designs Pro Stock dragster.
Supposed to use an AE pan car front end instead of that Bolink one.
If your up for another challenge I have another frame that came with this one and it looks similar but it is different and I have no clue what that one is either. I can take pictures if you want to see it to guess at what it is.

Re: what is this for?
this is what I was talking about no clue what it is though. I have a bunch of this stuff I got at an auction and have been slowly putting pictures up of all of it to figure out what it all is. this has turned out to be a very helpful site with a lot of friendly people.

Re: what is this for?
That would be where the front suspension plate came from. That's a bolink
not sure the version, they had quite a few different ones that were all fairly similar.
