Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
Wow, some pretty cool looking scale trucks.
I'm half tempted to build a true scale truck but $400+ for just a roller is pretty nutty. The realism of the RC4WD Trail Finder 2 is amazing. I think I'll just continue to dream.

Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
Well if you can save enough coin the TF2 is worth it. It's a really nice truck for the money. The high lift is similarly priced and mostly made of plastic. I have one and am impressed with its construction. I just need to paint the bodyRC10th wrote:Wow, some pretty cool looking scale trucks.

Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
Scalers and crawlers aren't my thing but something about those Wraiths really intrigues me. I've used some Axial parts with my Barney Optima, I love the quality of the aluminum and the green anodizing. The price is way out of my league, though.

Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
Built the Clod about a year ago and ended up selling it after I got it finished.
The Trailfinder 2 is still sitting in the closet. The kit drive shafts are terrible and kept falling off the truck while driving it. Currently sitting in the closet collecting dust.

Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
i do alot of the scale comp stuff nowadays. MUCH more relaxing than racing buggies.
lotta time in buiding what i got, and i beat the crapola out of them.

couple youtubes:
m'crunch top truck competition tanktrap - my little watershow starts at 2:38
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WPtTHoWHaE
big power got me into trouble by showing off and trying to get everybody wet, but then it also saved my run by being able to have the wheelspeed to get out of what i got into. (and get everybody wetter)
m'crunch top truck sled pull - my run starts around 4:00

at the very end of that vid you can see how a stock axial rubicon does...

some others, and timmy. my slash 4x4 is buried back there too.

Re: Show us your crawlers and scale trucks
This is the closest thing I have to anything remotely scale looking or being crawler worthy.
