The salt on the rim some kind of idiot test by the bartender? See how many dolts bonk themselves in the face with the beer bottle when they try to drink from the edge of the glass.

I've seen the Corona mug stands. Never tried one though. I just can't get into Margaritas. I wish I could. My wife likes one every now and then. She doesn't like the beer in it though.

Salt on the rim is for flavor! Pretty traditional, at least in Texas!Phin wrote:The salt on the rim some kind of idiot test by the bartender? See how many dolts bonk themselves in the face with the beer bottle when they try to drink from the edge of the glass.

Salt on the rim for a traditional margarita makes sense...salt on the rim of a margarita glass you can't tilt up to drink from without smacking yourself in the face with a beer bottle doesn't.justinspeed79 wrote:Salt on the rim is for flavor! Why would you ruin a perfectly good margarita by tilting a Buttwiper into it?

What can I say, I'm a cheap bastard! Couldn't pass these up for a $1 a pop. That's as close to a margarita as I can usually get
