dBoots Tires

Post by MotoObscura »

Has anybody tried dboots tires? They first caught my eye in a tower hobbies catalog. I was shocked at how cheap they are. They seem to be designed for European style tracks that are either looser dirt, or other surfaces like carpet, wood, or smooth floors. I'm wondering how effective they might be on a clay surface. They're so cheap I might as well try them, but I was wondering if anybody has any experience with them.

I haven't, but thanks for turning me on to them. They seem perfect for park/play tires.

Not good on clay, unless it's loamy. On our hard packed track, any hard or medium pin tire may as well be a slick. We have a set on Nanobytes my wife's B3, they work well enough on loose dirt at home.

Ain't like good clay tires are "expensive" anyway; $13 for gold Barcodes or $16 for MC Ions.

Personally, I like gold Barcodes in the rear and MC Scrubs up front. Barcodes have not worked well for me on the front end of buggies. I'm trying out the MC Ions on my 10T up front with MX Scrubs in the back.
